I love ice coffee with a hint of irish cream or baileys!
I agree with Mandyloo coffee smoothies/slushy's & such are amazing as well!
I used to make a weird milkshake...for grown ups only...
if you want smth like cake...How about a regular chocolate cake with a splash of coffee liqueur poured into a fine thin coat of dark chocolate topping.
You can incorporate coffee flavors into TONS of dessert recipes - cake, cupcakes, icing, cookies, ice cream, cheesecake, fudge, mousse, coffee cakes, popsicles, chocolatee covered coffee beans etc. As far as drinks you can make coffee flavored smoothies, milkshakes, frozen coffee, slushees, etc. The possibilities are really endless.
I would suppose it would matter what kind of coffee for a dessert... African coffee is best for richer desserts like carrot cake, tiramisu and trifle.
Our kind of coffee is more for light desserts; fruit tarts and pies.
Indonesian Coffees are the best to go with chocolate truffle pie or pecan pie.
i drank this thing back in india it was called devils delight i think it was cold coffee with whipped cream halfway and coco beans on top and then more coffee then whipped cream with chocolate on top and coco bits omg it was AMAZING
Chocolate ice cream mixed with coffee, very good. Mocha cheesecake... Frappe's and all that... Use your imagination - create something new! (Then add whip cream :D)
affogato - its just icecream with a shot of espresso poured over. Its kind of a dessert and kind of a drink. It really good
That sounds good and is the kind of simplicity I was looking for. Thanks.
hmm I will try coffee smoothies, thanks.
