I also have frizzy hair. Coconut and avacado oil mixed together have worked very well for me. Mix 2/3 of the coconut oil and the 1/3 of the avacado oil in a seperate container. You can put this in the fridge. After a hour or so it will have a texture of a creme/lotion. Put this on when your hair is still get, like after a shower. This mixture also helps your hair stay nice and hydrated and shiny. Becareful though to not put in too much, if you do your hair will look greasy.
I have unbelievably thick hair (i was hit by a car and they assumed i had brain damage, although the doctor says she believes my hair cushioned my head hit). I get my hair thinned atleast three times a year, and I also do it at home occasionally. You can thin where you want to by taking a blow-dryer and a hair brush and some nice hair moisturizer spray and in a sense "straighten" it. It lasts about two or three weeks.
Get some kind of serum for your hair to tame the frizz, I have really thick curly hair and I use a shine serum called Super Skinny Serum by Paul Mitchell, or else you could use a little bit of gel... and as for your hair being thicker on top, just get some layers or thin your hair out on the bottom!:) I used to have the same problem but now I get layers and get it thinned underneath:P Hope I helped!
i know John Frieda freez treatments..they really good!! i love all John Frieda products...they have serums, oils, sprays, etc...so check that out..=]
Get your hair thinned out at the bottom! And try the oil treatments tablet things, and use lot's of conditioner!
I'll try that when I have the money to buy some :L thanks :D
