Problems with my sister

My sister is 14 and she already slept with 2 guys (her ex boyfriend and her current boyfriend) She never use protection and started having sex when she was just 12. My mom knows that she is having sex but doesn’t care and mom isn’t willing to do anything. She is having problems with her current boyfriend by being too possessive and I think that sooner or later she is going to break up and go on to another guy and give her body to him too. What should I do?

If you tell her in a loving way then she won’t feel your telling her what to do. Example, you could tell her that you respect her decisions and that it’s her life but as someone who cares a lot about her you were just wandering why she doesn’t protect herself better? Tell her you love her and are just worried and just want her to be happy. Avoid telling her what you want her to do or what she should do but just tell her how you feel and ask her to explain how she feels. It’s easier when the person feels you are genuinely interested what they think and aren’t just imposing your point of view.

Well if she started having sex, we can’t stop her from doing it again. The best you can do is to reason with her to go on birth control, and try and educate her to be a more responsible and self-respecting person. If she has friends that you are friends with, maybe you can try to get them to persuade her to do the right thing, and to show her all the risks and dangers of sex and relationships.
