Does anyone know what may be the problem with my computer while trying to stream or watch a video?

It seems to stop every second. I noticed the problem existing in all the computers in the house, not just mine. A friend told me to update the flash player & I have in all 4 computers yet still seem to be having the same problem. I tried checking for viruses, but all computers are clean. I tried checking for spyw@re but all is clean as well. I even went as far as doing a clean up on all hard drives yet still nothing. I am at my last straw & would appreciate some expertise. Thank you in advance.

It may be a problem with the site itself. The video could also be very slow at buffering, so it only loads one second of video for every 30 seconds you wait.

Answer #2

Did you let the video load up? When I go to watch a movie online, sometimes…I just have to pause it at the beginning and wait for it to build up, other wise, it will keep stopping to load. There should be a bar at the bottom of the screen showing that it’s loading. One bar that is moving shows how far along the movie is, and the more transparent bar behind it should always be past where the movie is at. If that makes sense.

Try that, and if it still doesn’t work, then it’s most likely that site. Try a different site, and see if it does the same thing.

You might need to update Java, or just close some of your windows/tabs when watching the video. You might even need to clear some space on your hard drive.
