premier help

in premier I m unable to import .mpg videos its shows unsupported format or file may corrupted error. I have quick time and real player installed, I m using premier Cs3. What should I do ?

it seems as though premiere does not support MPG’s

you need to get a media converter. something that will convert a MPG into an MP4 (or another supported format). after the conversion, you should be able to import the MP4 into premiere.

just download a free one. there are tons of them online.

it has nothing to do with having quick time or real player installed.
