Is it normal to have extra saliva while pregnant?

I am 20 years old and my and my husband are expecting kinda a surprise not going to lie, but we are very excited for the new arrival. I am just scared I was told that every woman has different side affects from pregnancy, I have been having a problem my mouth is really dry but I feel like e I have way to much saliva and I cant swallow it. I dont have a sore throat or anything but it feels like my mucus is too thick to swallow. Is that normal. Its kinda putting me in a bad mood.

Get the book What to expect whe you are expecting! Every book store has it in store or online. Make sure it is exactly that title. It will explain that and much more. From day 1 to after delivery! Congrats!!!

first of all congratulations on your news.. I had my first when I was 19yrs old… I also remember being scared, I really enjoyed my pregnacy as I hope you will, your body is making so many changes most we are not awear of, Make sure you drink pleanty of water, get some folic acid vitimins, as you are 3mnths its better from this time upwards, enjoy and relax.. you will look back on this one day and will see it as a breeze good luck
