Which do you prefer, FPS or RPG games?

And why? Personally I’ve always loved RPG style games, it just generally seems like there’s more there for me than just the bang bang kill that you get out of shooters. It seems that shooting games have gotten more popular in the past few years, most people I know play them, and there seems to be a buzz about every new one that comes out, whereas there’s almost never as much attention given to the newest RPG’s. This kind of turned into a different topic than I started, but whatever. Voice your opinions away.

Both, depending on what mood I am in. I generally play RPG’s, but I LOVE when they are combined, like fallout 3. That just makes my day.

FPS. i like to shoot lots and lots of bullets and kill lots and lots of ppl.

i prefer RPGS………i really get into the characters,,……i feel as if im the guy in on the screen

I’m not very good at video games, thus I prefer RPG, because I”m less likely to lose :)

RPGs all the way, I love the amount of depth and story you get in most RPGs I’d play a RPG over a FPS any day, although I do enjoy a few rounds of COD once in a while

I like RPG cause I’m very good in building up strategies. That’s why I like playing the game Wizard101,……..strategy counts when doing a pvp battle.
