Post Secondary Education

I’m only in grade 11 but universitys look at those marks if you haven’t finshed your grade 12 year when you apply. Anyways I want to do business and it requires Pure math 30( its kinda like advancded placement) with at least a 70% and English 30-1(also AP) with at least a 70% and a average over 85. I have no problem with English but I struggle with math and I don’t think I can get over 70%. Anyways my average right now is 89 but I haven’t finshed my Pure Math 20 course yet. Will universitys still consider me even if the major I’m going into is competitive?

I think it really depends on the university’s policy, sometimes they will go on a case-by-case basis while considering your entire academic record. Talk with an academic counselor or admissions specialist with the uni you want to attend, they should be more than willing to guide you. I know it’s the policy of some schools to allow admissions to students who otherwise meet all requirements (except for one requirement) on a probationary basis and will review your academic progress by semester–if you do well in all areas, you will have full admissions. Hope this helps some! -S
