Like if McCain said “Our troops are wonderful.” Obama would say “McCain is right, our troops are wonderful.” It’s not like he would say “McCain is wrong, our troops are STO0PID.”

friendoffun, yes he said I agree 8 times. What does that tell you? That they have some common ground? That Obama is willing to listen to the other side. I think the more important question is how many times did McCain agree with Obama? I think that is much more telling. The guy wouldn’t even look at Obama.

What a lot of people miss is what Obama says after he agrees. He doesn’t disagree just because McCain was his opponent.

Generally, here’s the structure of Obama’s answers: “I agree with McCain ON THIS…however, I do not agree with the application…the method…the philosophy etc. etc. etc.”
