Ok well my bf thinks that a boner is a sign of affection but i think that the whole point of a boner is to have sex. What do you guys think?

Yeah it’s mostly just for sex. I mean sex can’t take place if the guy can’t get it up. But in a way it can also show a girl that the guy is sexually attracted to her

I think that you’re thinking about it in a completely different sense than your boyfriend is meaning it. It’s obvious that an it is usually used for sexual purposes, but I think he was trying to suggest that he gets excited because of how he feels for you. Not because he JUST wants to sleep with you.

That’s my take on it.
