What is this poem type?
it has 3 stanzas(with 4 lines in each), a rhyme scheme of: ABAB,CDCD,EFEF, and also a rhyming couplet at the end. please help :)
Sounds like a Shakesperean sonnet, most his sonnets follow that pattern.

Yep, it’s the Shakeperean Sonnet, I found a website talking about it. http://funadvice.com/r/14sb5tm1jn8 scroll down to “III. The English (or Shakespearian) Sonnet:” and it talks about its scheme and such.
