If you could buy a ps3. Should I wait to get a 160gb later or buy a 80gb now. do you think a 80gb will be outdated soon?
Save your money till the 160 comes out. Then you’ll have a little extra for acesories, too. Just like with my comp. Rather than trying to overclock it now with its POS motherboard and try to play higher-end games on it, I’m going to save my my momney and get a new board so I can safely OC to 3.6 ghz. Boorah!
What hivetyrant seems to fail to realize is that hard drive space has nothing to do with gaming performance. Personally, I don’t see why you would ever need 160gb of space on a console. Unless you want to save absolutely every piece of detritus that you download, what are you going to do with twice the space? Me, I download movie, watch movie, delete movie, so even with the amount of games I play (a lot), I’ve never needed more than my 4-gb 360.
Also, the 160gb model won’t be backwards-compatible for PS2 games. That would kill the deal for me.
