So say you were in love with two people. One who can't step up but one that loves you an wont let go. Another who wants to marry you but you can't stop thinking about the one who can't step up. Who would you pick. The one who hasn't had the chance to you everything or the one who is willing to give you everything?
Whomever it is that I loved. If it were the one that can't step up, well, make it clear that he/she must step it up or well, it's not worth it. Relationships take two. If the one you love is the one who loves you... well there isn't a problem. But since you are asking this, it just means you have equal feelings for both and to be honest, I would personally chose neither. If I were to be with someone I'd want to want the one person and know it. I would not be indecisive or choosing between different guys. Obviously, it's up to you. In this situation, the one who loves you and won't let go does seem like the better choice.
If I were you, I would pick the guy that I can't stop thinking about, which is the first one in this situation. I'd definitely try and see where things go with him. The second guy sounds like the more ideal choice since he is so dedicated to you, but that's not enough to make a relationship last. I mean, if the second guy wants to marry you, and you can't stop thinking about another dude, then feelings obviously aren't mutual, so why lead him on? Making a pros & cons list for both guys might help you sort your mind.
That's a tough decision. Ultimately tho, i boils down to what you want out of life, where you want to go (be). How do you imagine your life? Being with someone who makes your heart dance but suffer through other things or live comfortably and yet, when you're in bed at night, think about the one you truly love.
Seems like you are thinking more about the one who can't step up. Either way, the key is not to rush into anything. Give it some time and see how things play out.
And what I truly mean to say is that if you are trying to choose between two different guys, you obviously do not have any true, or strong enough feelings for either of them, so marriage is definitely out of the question!
Pick the sent guy you fell for because if you really loved the first you would had never fallen for the second!
