physical memory dump

computer is stating physical memory dump complete. contact your system administrator( this is a blue screen). I can not get past the Win XP start up screen which then brings me back to a black screen asking how to start computer that does not work. What has happened and what should I do

Answer #1

The best bet is to rebuild your system. Blue screens are often, but not always, caused by driver issues. They can be a pain to recover from, though. Good luck! Happy Easter!

Answer #2

When that happened to my laptop the harddrive had crashed and I Lost everything

Answer #3

“The blue screen of death”

There must have been more to the message than just that…it would give you a more specific idea of what the problem is.

However, make sure you have enough disk space…physical memory is RAM

Answer #4

Yes. “The blue screen of death” This has happened to me twice. It sucks!! Both times it happened to me, I had a virus and it just screwed my sh*t up royally. I had to reinstall windows. Try that. Insert your windows disk and go through the prompts. When you see the option to repair windows, try that. If that doesn’t work, pick the other one, something about reinstalling or something. I’m sorry I’m not more help. I have a friend that always helps me through these problems, he’s a computer genius. Try redoing windows, that’s all I know to try. Good luck!
