well, just because something looks a certain way, doesnt mean it is. Someone can be very attractive but turn out to be a horrible person. Berries can look very appetizing but turn out to be poisonous.
It means that she might not be as she appears to be…whatever you’re seeing in your friend, that other person doesn’t believe it, themselves.
it might mean that theyre hiding something. they may look and act like super-cool people but arent cool people on the inside, yanno? kinda like what danielle was saying up there. things may look good on the outside, but its only on the outside. underneath the surface, its not good at all.
It means that they are seeing something or they know something they believe you dont.
