What do you think of my rat's wound?

Hey.

I know a lot on Rats, I have 7. My problem is one of our Babies, probably half a year maybe. His name is Remy, and he got hurt. I am somewhat alarmed by his wound, but, he does not seem effected by it at all. He is just now in the cage, where it is safe, since the other 6 boys are running around. Yea, I have 7 male Rats. Were planning to get them Neurterd.

So, What do you think about this wound? I know Rats can heal quickly, and he isnt licking at it or anything. It is not bleeding or ripping any more. He is still energenic as always, and he is a baby so he might mess with something we put over it.

Well, if you can’t take him to the vet, I’d get some “polysporen” at the pharmacy. I’ve never used it on rats but it works great on cats and dogs. It’s used on light wounds to help scaring and kill bacteria. It’s a kind of creme so easy to put on.
