period help. I'm freaking out.

girl help! ok so I’m on my period (oh yay, tmi time babyy) and today it was meh, nothing happening and same for this afternoon, so I thought it was slowing down. I was playing apples to apples with some peeps and BOOM. I feel a rush and I go to the bathroom. blood EVERYWHERE. now I’m soaking up tampons 5 an hour. HELP PLEASE!!

Answer #1

Wow! if that’s serious, see your doctor. But, since you’re saying it’s over now, I still would recomend seeing your doctor to be on the safe side.

Answer #2

sounds like a lot of blood loss. make sure you’re not alone so that if something does happen…like fainting…someone can rush you to the ER. tell a friend or family member what’s going on and what to do if something happens.

if you really are using 5 supers an hour, I would just go to the doc right now. better safe than sorry.

Answer #3

If you continue to bleed for the next 6 hours like this, go to a doctor. Otherwise, you’re probably still at the point where your period isn’t sure what it’s doing. I didn’t get past this myself until after I got pregnant. Often, it would stop for one or two days or spot very little, and then suddenly OMGWTFTomatoes? What happens then is something (like stress or activity) causes the cervix to clench and close up, and it basically holds the blood in until you do something different and relax the cervix… and then it’s literally like opening the floodgates. As long as you’re not going through 5 Super Plus tampons an hour, you should be ok, but as I said, if it doesn’t stop by morning, go to a doctor. If you start feeling really weak and dizzy, and you’re getting chills, go to a doctor.

Answer #4

Tell your mom to bring you to a doctor!

Answer #5

5 tampons an hr? That doesn’t seem normal. You should see a doctor to make sure everything is ok..

Answer #6

if its that serious then you really do need to go to the doctor to get that checked out. that could get even worse. go to a doctor to get that checked out definetly.

Answer #7
