Why are some people embarrased to use public restrooms?

Yeah. I hate it, it’s SOOO discusting!

Maybe they don’t want people to hear their bathroom noises. Or like Haloyeah mentioned, many people think bathrooms are disgusting. Maybe they are embarrassed that people will think that they are gross for using them.

I believe it depends on the situation. I do not think that people feel embarrassed to use rest room in a five star hotels since the place is well maintained. However if it is a rest room in places such as a cheap restaurant or a gas station, I think the main reason is the condition of the rest room which is not clean enough.

i believe some people are embarrass to use public restroom because as young kids. we learned how to potty train in our own bath room. not the public bathroom…….i guess having full self privacy………makes it feel a lot more secure than having to notice people barging in while you are unleashing manure from you body………….

I encourage people to you use public toilet, you dont know how it feels like to live in the outskirts of africa or asia….they squat in holes

um maybe because they are waaay self concious and think that people are listening to them pee or poop… or they might make noise???
