Why do people book concerts?

i know that some people book concerts at venues to bring in the crowds but what about churches. if it would be in a church, is fundraising a factor?

Churches can hold concerts for several reasons. One reason a church may hold a concert is to raise money for the church, an organization, or a family in need. Churches may also book a religous band to help bring in new members to their church, give back to their church members by providing a concert for entertainment, or possibly to even help a local religous band gain recognition…ultimatly spreading their reliigous message either way.
