Do I need a passport to travel from the U.S. to Puerto Rico?

I’m going to Puerto Rico next year by plane and I don’t know if I need a passport or not. Some people say you do and others say you just need a drivers license and birth certificate. A lot of people say that they only needed their drivers license, but I don’t know how long ago they traveled there. Are the requirements for plane travel to Puerto Rico different now? Is there a website I could look up this information on?

No, you don’t need a passport, because it’s a US territory. Bring your license and social security card for sure, and you should be fine. But it wouldn’t hurt to have your birth certificate either.
