Just seen this! so you're in Bristol in the UK right. I assume we're talking about actual paid employment, so what you need to know are the hours you can legally work.
During term time children may work a maximum of 12 hours per week. This includes: a maximum of two hours on school days and Sundays a maximum of five hours on Saturdays for 13 to 14 year olds, or eight hours for 15 to 16 year olds

You cannot work for more than the legal hours allowed, but the hours can be spread out. Here's the link which will tell you all you need to know http://funadvice.com/r/14tqlti58no
Some places are stricter than others when it comes to work hours, but it's definitely worth asking. Your employer might be willing to work with you on getting the days off that you want, as long as you let him know in advance. It just all depends on the flexibility of the place and how much they need you there.
It depends, Some jobs do go with your squedule and ask you when you can work and stuff, but sometimes they do prefer somebody with a more flexible squedule. But asking the boss or somebody in a high position would be your best bet to find out. Each job is different.
Ask your manager to figure out what days you'll be able to work. That's the best way to do it. Figuring out what you have scheduled for the next few months, let your manager note that as well, so they'll know when you can/can't work. best of Luck!
A lot of low end jobs are very flexible, those are high schoolers first jobs and they know how it is. Why they hire a lot of people at them, like fast food places.
You'd had to debate/ask your boss or manager..
thanks this is really good info :)
