Parakeet buddy?
I ahve a parakeet that has lived with himself his whole life. Should I get him another parakeet to live with or will they fight? He seems so lonely all by himself

I have a parakeet, he loves mirrors… and to be free, out of his cage. He is also one of the most sociable birds I have ever met… he sits on your shoulder and talks to you. I think this comes from much love and care. If you get your parakeet a mate, they tend to stray away from humans and get really attached to eachother so, in some cases, that is not the best thing to do.
Well you can talk and spend time with him! Or maybe just try to get him a mate or some toys!
