Okay, Not to long after I start runnning or jogging. I get this pain in my left side, its like a cramp.. And I have to stop running cause it hurts to bad. Even if Im not out of breath, I still have to stop. Any Idea what it could be?
Sounds like a stitch... it's when your diaphragm (the tissue that separates your cardiac organs with your stomach) isn't getting enough oxygen when you're exercising.
Make sure you're taking the time to stretch properly before and after exercising... and practice taking in DEEP breaths that hit the bottom of your lungs while you're running.
When you feel the burn/pain, you have to stop and take a couple minutes to catch your breath.
Take it easy!!
usually its lack of potassium. you shud eat something that has potassium and it helps.. hope this helps.
(oh and make shur to drink lots of water or other liquids)
it is most likely a stitch but if is always in your left side then you may have pulled a muscle and need to rest it or be VERY careful. ;)
its called a stitch and it is normal its just your muscle working I hope I helped you
