Operation worries

Im getting an operation. im kinda scared about it I cant stop thinkin about it im scared that it will go wrong. How can I stop worrying?

Answer #1

Realize that thousands go through that operation with no problems and God loves you and He us indeed in control.

Answer #2

Focus on the positives, and breath in a slow, deep and calming way. Think of all the benefits the operation will give you. Your operation is important so that you can feel better and you can do more of the things that you wanted to, and have a better quality of life. Trust the doctors, keep yourself motivated, and look forward to feeling better!

Answer #3

Remember Ash that you are one of hundreds participating in a routine they perform like clockwork, they are equipped and well versed in dealing with most if not all problems that may occur, and you are no more of a challenge to them than the other million patients they have operated on. Anxiety is normal before an operation, concentrate on the benefits of what it will do for you, then maybe start to organize something that reflects your post condition. Look ahead not down ok?

Answer #4

well think that the surgeon and his team have trained for probably 10, 20, 30+ years, and that they wont mess up…theres an entire team of doctors in the operating room; they wont let each other make mistakes. good luck!
