ok, my band and I have completely have writers block

SO, would someone help us write some lyrics, anything, love death, nature, and send us your name, we will completely give you the props of the song after we get it recorded. THANKIES!!! (rock genre but any lyrics will work)

without lawyers and contracts to sign- you are probably not going to get too many responses to this.

I would never send any lyrics for a song over the internet without having signed some sort of an agreement beforehand.

The best way is to just start playing acoustic… hum a melody and start turning it into words even if it doesnt make sense and remember it doesnt have to rhyme. Record while you’re doing it (just a plain cheapo recorder) so you can playback and remember what you did, use the good parts and forget the bad parts.

Another good way to get inspiration is to listen to music in other languages, then look up their translations (remember not to use the literal translation, then you’re infringing on copyright.)

Look to other genres of music for inspiration, listen to some old standards, opera.. anything.
