I'm 14. I live with my mum and dad. my auntie and uncle live a 5 minute walk away. I've never felt loved by either of my parents. yeh ok they buy me presents but I used to go to my auntie's everyday when I was younger because I'd bonded with her so much and used to cry buckets when I dint see her. she taught me that money and presents can't buy you love and my mum and dad are buying me presents in replace for love. I don't want it anymore. I want love not money or presents. whenever I need a cuddle I always go to my auntie and uncle. when I split up with my boyfriend of 2 years(back 2 gether now!) I told my mum and she just ignored me same as my dad. I can never go up to them and ask for a cuddle. they have both never been loving and we were never a loving family. is there any way I could change this and make my mum and dad my mum and dad rather than my auntie and uncle being my suporters???
You need to let them know how its making you feel. Maybe they just are not the lovey dovey type, maybe they think that buying you things will make you happier. You are the one who needs to step up and tell them what you like, there not going to know until you tell them.
have you talked to your uncle and aunt about it? Have you talked to your mum and told her you needed her?
