My siblings do not include me.

I have 2 brothers and no sisters. I am the only girl and the youngest. My brothers and their families plan elaborate vacations, camping, and parties together and I am never asked. I am recently divorced and last 4th of July they all went camping and I was all by myself, they never asked me to go. They have eachother and I feel like I have no one. It is incredibly painful! Memorial day weekend they all went up to my oldest brothers cabin, never asked me to go. I found out from my mother that weekend. I finally had enough. I am 41 and tired of the pain so I sent them a text message. I told them as far as they are concerned their sister is dead. I have not heard from them, which is a good thing. But, I am so broken hearted. I dont know how to deal with this. All I can hope is one day each of them know what it is like to be shunned by their family.

My sister hurts my feeling like that all the time! She is only one year older than me, but I still want to do things with her, and she just leaves me anyway. And she even gets mad when I talk to her. I hope when we get older, she doesnt hate me.

I’m really sorry to hear that. Sometimes its hard to find things in common with opposite sex siblings. Instead of sending them that text message, why didn’t you ask them why they didn’t invite you? You could’ve been like “oh..you know I was alone that weekend, didn’t you think of your sister?” Or you could tell them that they really hurt you because they make you feel as if you’re not part of the family. Communication is the only way to solve things. Trust me I have a lot of sibling problems and I know communication can be very hard, but just ask them…

that sucks tell them how you feel and if they dont listin throw a party joke thats what I would do if my parents were gone!
