I dont usually have this problem, but my professor is seriously putting me to sleep. Ideas on how to concentrate?
Laugh at everything the prof told but when he glares at you, pretend to be serious and as soon as he turns, belch loudly, sing a verse, do anything to keep yourself amused and think the prof as a comedy. Try imitating his voice to your friends or chat silently. Never ever read a book. It will make you sleep. Try coughing loudly so that the whole class bursts out laughing but you should keep a silent face. Hope this helps you
Sit in the front row..that way you'll be right under his nose...wouldn't it be embarrassing if you fell asleep right in front of the man's face (and then he points it out to the whole class?)...It works for me lol
Or just keep reminding yourself of the reason you took the course and how much you don't want to fail
lol thats funny uhm you can doodle in your notebook, think of a guy, think of your first kiss, if your not married then think of how you want your wedding to be like, uhhh. . . . I aint got no more :(
Try taking lots of notes...if you're keeping busy by focussing on it, then you're less likely to fall asleep
That also helps you later on - you'll have something to study with
my history teacher is like that. try opening a book up & reading over w/e youre covering.
or, try taking notes..it'll definitley help you later on!
lol, I keep getting distracted while taking notes, seriously his voice is ridiculously monotonal!
