My itchy dog!
My dog has been scratching constantly whenever she can for a year now (since we moved to north carolina) and she doesnt have tics or fleas and we take her to the vet to get shots that help for a month or two but then she gets right back to scratching and we dont want to get her more shots because it will damage her liver and immune system as she gets older. What are some ideas that anyone has to permanently get rid of this problem?
It could be the now environment and climate that makes her this way, try medicated shampoo and bathe her daily with it, she could just have overly dry skin and needs a moisturizing shampoo or she could have a rash.
Try bathing her in a specially formulated for dry skin doggy shampoo. Look around a Petco or PetSmart for different ointments or powders.
ouch. I don’t know what is wrong. maybe she has er,…maybe she is still new to the environment. don’t worry,… she will get soon, eventually. just pray
