my girl friiend missed her period
My girlfriend missed her period. Days later she took a pregnancy test-twice. But it showed negative results. It has now been 1 week since. Should I get another test because her period has yet to come? And, is she likely to be pregnant?
Sounds like it could be a possibilty, but it depends on how old she is and how regular her periods are. Wait about another 2-3 weeks (I know. nailbiting) to about when her next period should roughly be. Then do another test. It takes several weeks after conception for Hcg levels to build up enough to show up on a test.
It is very possible I like the test from the dollar store they told me with both of my pregnancies that I was pregnant before any of the other tests like first response and EPT etc… It could also just be because she’s been under stress or a number of things that can make a period late. But I would definitely test again if it’s still neg by next week then she’s not. Although being that she has already missed her period she should get a positive result by now. Her HCG (pregnancy hormone ) might not be high enough yet every woman is different!
