My Cat Rusty
I have a cat who is part Maine Coon. He has black gums. Does anyone know why ?
It can be normal I have six cats and all of them gave black gums of some sort. Your cat should be okay. But you should take him to the vet if it looks like you cat has any discomfort while eating or any mouth discomfort at all. You may even want to take him to the vet for the heck of it to have a check up.
their gums are usually dark if thyre coat is dark.. I don’t know why bt thts how cats are I guess :)
Is the cat orange by chance?
The black is just the colour of his gums…it’s nothing to be concerned about.
