your cat may be more active at this point in its life. usually the more active you are the more calories you need.

Agreed with above. There also could be other reason’s:

-Is she fixed? Does she go outside? If she’s not fixed and she is allowed to go outside, there could be a possiblity that she is pregnant.

-Increased eating could also be a sign of worms - if she’s eating a lot and not gaining any weight or loosing weight, it could be worms.

-If she’s been more active lately, then she would be eating more.
