Answer #1

Tell your parent that music isnt some type of rule you cant put no hold or restriction on it. Its the way that you express your self, almost like your life, it you, it show who you are, what type of person you are or who you want to be. And just like their love it has no limit and it excepts you for who you really are.

Answer #2

I seriously love my music taste with a passion but my mom hates it and she always moans at me but your parents really should face it. its who you are just tell your parents ‘to stop worrying’ they’re only saying that because they care about you

Answer #3

Your parents can’t remember what THEY were like at your age…how much THEIR music meant to them…I am probably your parents age, I hate what my son listens to…but it is NOT my business, unless I have to listen to it…get headphones, don’t expose them to it. It is your music, keep it that way. And if they keep complaining, find out who they LOVED when they were your age, ask your grandparents, look up the bands and the songs… print out the lyrics to their music and the lyrics to your music…let them read both…they will be surprised…

Answer #4

Music is life. Why your parents telling you to avoid listening to the music. If they don’t want music so don’t your parents hear music. The musics reflects our daily emotions, however other people cannot relate to the music, with the new types or genre of music. That’s why maybe your parents told you not to hear music. For example your type of music is screamo/grunge/emo, well our parents not loved this type, they love the hits of 80’s or 90’s.

Answer #5

Well my mom doesn’t like Heavy metal or emo/goth music but you just have to let your parents understand that this is who you are! And they have to accept the fact that this is what you like and accept the fact that this is who you are! So if they don’t want you to listen to it anymore than just talk to them and make them understand these changes!
