mouse? maybe pregnant?

like 2 days ago my first male mouse died, I kept him with my 3 females for about a week or so. then just today I bought another male mouse (I don’t know if the older mouse got any of the females pregnant) then I put him in the cage with the females, I heard a couple of loud squeaks and then silence. I checked on them and the male and one of the female was in the hut. do you think he got her pregnant/ maybe where they pregnant? oh and another question is, I have another mouse I think is pregnant, I don’t know what the signs are of pregnancy, her fer is starting to go over her feet and she seems to have gotten a lot slower, is she prego?

I suggest that the female that you suspect is pregneant be put in a seprate cage. Most mothers are protective. Be careful to keep the cage warm for the suspected soon to be babys, BUT dont keep it to war otherwise they would die. :c. He probably did get her pregnant and she will be growing larger in the stomach area soon enough.

It sounds like she is. When a mouse is pregnant, they usually have the babies a week or two after they get pregnant. Make sure you pay attention to the one that you believe is pregnant. After she has the babies, you have to put her in a separate cage. Be careful NOT to touch the babies. If you touch them or another mouse other then the mother touches them, the mother might kill the one that was touched. I don’t know why they do it but they do. Good Luck!

Honey, anytime you put a male mouse in with a female, the chances are enormous that there are baby mice on the way…he probably has all the femals pregnant…
