It generally depends on a few categories:
-The quality of your song (chart topper or just a album filler) -the record company (Big > small) -the artist (more famous more cash) -Your fame (are you well known in the industry) -type of song (techno, pop, rock etc)
Price more commonly around X000(bad song) - X00,000(good) or on a very rare case and it DEPENDS on your own fame, a song could break the million dollar barrier, but dont expect to do that with your first commercial song, even if it is a chart topper, your final paycheaque is still very variable so unless you are very lucky and super talented, then dont expect to earn too much in your first year.

It depends on who you write songs for, you can get little to no money for writing for an artist or band that isn't recognized or you can make tons of money writing for someone who is very well known
