how can i get my money back?
when i was 7, i was hit by a truck. the guy’s insurance gave me $50,000. when i was 11, my mother took all that money without my permission to buy a piece of crap house. now, i’m 18, and she divorced my father, moved out, and left us with her debt. she promised to pay me back, but i haven’t seen a cent of it. her excuse was that she doesn’t have a steady monthly income now, but she had 7 years to at least start paying me back. what should i do? how can i get my money back? can i take her to court for it?
Depending on what the papers said about the settlement but you should be able to take her to court. Your best bet is to contact a lawyer and see what your options are
