How long after my period can I have sex and not get pregnant?

How long after menstual can I have sex and not get pregnant?

Answer #1

It’s menstation (there’s so such word as menstuality)

And what Stephanie said… there is no real safe zone…

Answer #2

Stephanie is right!!! Go to Planned Parenthood and get some information. You can also see a doctor for exams and birth control pills. There are many around and in Albany: 17 Elk St # 1, Albany, NY (518) 436-8408‎ for one, and they can tell you the closest one to go to.

Condoms are available everywhere, but get a Morning After pill (also called Plan B) in case of condom failure or slippage. Good Luck!!

Answer #3

If you don’t know this, you shouldn’t be having sex. There is absolutely no safe zone in your cycle. You can get pregnant at any time. There are times in you cycle you are are a higher risk, but its possible anytime. Get on birth control and always use condoms. Before you have sex again, take the time to educate yourself.

Answer #4

Ok you usually ovulate about 4-8 days after your last period. Thats not to say that sperm can live in you for up to 7 days so there is an open window there too.
