yes it can, depending on which type of birth control you use. I was on pills for about 3 years and I had it normally for the whole time. in april of 08, I had the mirena iud put in and havent had a period since, ( not pregnant either, confirmed by doc)
yes it does dont take it if you suffer from migraines because it makes them worse . I was on the one for getting rid of achnie not sure if makes a difference
