My teacher gave me this weird math problem and I'm not sure what I have to figure out or how I need to figure it out...What the heck does this mean?...
Adam was standing in his front yard at the time of the accident, making a video of his little sister riding her bike for the first time. Later while viewing the video tape Adam abserved that the accident was recorded in the background of the videotape. He timed his sister's preformance to be 15 seconds long. Then by running the videotape in slow motion, he was able to count the 24-inch diameter tires of Johns truck rotating 101 times while Adams sister rode the bike.
You need to know what is the exact question so we can go from there. But the question trick could be about "in slow motion." Because the 15 seconds going to be 30 seconds during slow motion.
...or how far the driver went in a matter of 15 seconds, which would be 2424 inches (or 67 yards)...
Since the tires are 24 inches, and they did 101 full rotations, so, 101 X 24 = 2424
Of course, I didn't calculate circumference, but the question is faulty to begin with, lol
I think its to see if John hit the brakes before he had the reck but im not sure.
The statement makes sense, but what's the question?
