Marriage in prison

My boyfriend wants us to get married while he is prison, serving a 3 year sentence for retalliation, we been on and off for the past 5 years, I love him but he says he dont want to wait, he wants to get married a.s.a.p… what would you do ??? Any advice??? He still has 1 1/2 year to go.. Might come out before on parole..

I dont know what state your on, by your name I’m guessing texas. In the state of Illinois we have a thing called good time and then you can also get time knocked off by going to school ect due to over population in our prison systems. You could always ask him to appeal his parole date and go infront of the board and ask to be let out sooner…if you know you want to be with him, then go for it, but if you have the dreams of a real wedding with friends and family then explain that to him, whether your married or not that’s not going to stop you from running around on him if you want.
