why do some people assume that marijuana is a horrible drug, despite the medical uses, and without even trying it!
Because they are capable of reading studies by experts in the field and fully qualified to advise the public on marijuana - example: Even short-term marijuana use carries a lot of risks, especially involving the way your brain works. When you use a mind-altering substance such as marijuana, you are much more likely to make bad decisions. These bad decisions can involve driving a car while under the influence of the drug, making sexual choices that are unsafe or out of character for you, or saying things that you regret to other people.
Marijuana can also affect your judgment about other drugs. You may drink too much or try drugs you never had any intention of using while you're under the influence of marijuana - not a good road to take in Life...glorify it at your own peril.

uhm yeah alcohol also has horrible effects (alcohol has caused more deaths than any other drug)... listen to the experts!

yes, so was alcohol at one point, that was a huge disaster and entirely pointless.. guess the government isnt always right
nope I am and will always be against illegal drugs for 'recreational use'. most of the drugs around today were legal at one time- they were made illegal for a reason. I can spot "pot smokers' a mile away, so it does have an effect on those who use it. legallizing pot will be opening up 'pandoras box'.
Its also addictive, don't believe me you should meet some of my ex-boyfriends family members. It kills brain cells and worse for the lungs than cigarettes---smoking 1 joint/spliff is equal to smoking 10 cigarettes,
well I agree. legalize it. I have tried it, and I dont really even like it. but a lot of people I know do. and my mom uses it medically;... so screw all the people who are so against it.
Because of all the stupid commercials and after school specials, I think. It's not a horrible drug. Legalize it! :)
