No. Although this was like a decade ago. But they dont seem to change much. And they're not hard. We had like a joke of a teacher (he was fired) for the first year, and we pretty much did the entire syllabus in 4 months. I ended up with an A*. And I suck at maps. You do have to know some basic stuff like they mentioned, coordinates, latitude, longitude, but it's not a large portion of the exam.
well i haven't had those exams but with the practice ones i have with 8 marks going.you have to provide facts as to where the earthquake was what time how many was killed primary and secondary impacts( you'll learn those when you take the course, its not hard :D) your teacher will probably guide you through how to answer each question correctly so you do get the 8 marks ect :)
Well you'll have to be able to read maps to some extent. Like reading oceans and tides and wind patterns. You'll have to be able to plot co-ordinates, and know the basics like latitude and longitude. I didn't do Geography GCSE, But I did Environmental Management GCSE which is 80% Geo and 20% Bio.
Tummy weight is an issue on every lady espically after child-birth , I found to loose tummy weight is to do 50 pull ups every time you have the time to. If you don't see your tummy starting to tone, try eating healthily along side them also.
No, it is animal part of the exams so it helps in a way but mostly it's knowing all the topics you will be taught, it's a great subject and you will learn to read maps at a few points in the course. I would really recommend it
Some of it was hard if you did not revise but the great thing about geography is that there is no coursework (in the uk) so you can focus on other subjects.
nope im taking gcse geography and ive done about natural hazards and rivers and coasts so far :) as far as i know theres nothing on maps
I took geography gcse. The silabus is hard and you do have to know what you're talking about but It didn't mention maps what so ever :)
It's not hard, your teacher will teach you how to read them. If you like Geography, it's a good subject to take. Very interesting.
:) great ..and goodluck on the future exams.... =) lol? were the natural hazards and rivers and coasts exams easy?
I really want to do Geography gsec's but i am bad at reading maps.. :(
