Who here loves the addition of the ads in the corner of the page?

Sorry hun, cant say that I do. To be honest they really annoy the hell outta me. What made this site so much better then others was the fact that there were no ads on here…sad!

There should be a nice X somewhere to close it for those that dont care too much for it, but there isnt. :(

I don’t find the ads that annoying, personally. I happen to appreciate and understand the fact that the ads help pay for things on the site. Without some money coming in, FA wouldn’t have some of the cool features it does now. An example would be the points we all cash out on, lol. Another example would be the site running at all.. It costs money to keep this place going 100%, I’m sure.

True, and I am glad they did it, all the other site do it, and it adds a bit of color to the page.

Yes, I think they need the ads, to help improve the site, as long as they don’t take it to far. Google ads are very safe and they should not pose any problem.

I like it. It’s not like other sites where everywhere you look there are ads. Also if it wasn’t for the ads etc, we wouldn’t be able to claim points from funadvice. I’d rather deal with a few ads then having to give up that feature.

I’m not big on it, but if it makes Funadvice more money I’m 100% for it.

I don’t mind the site having ads, but banner ads at the top or bottom of the page would be better. The current position makes the site look kinda squashed up, and not very appealing.
