why is it that there seems to be no available jobs for men who have been convicted of a felony? doesn't it make sense that our government would want to occupy a "criminals" time rather than leave them free to commit more crime?
Not all Convicted felons are convicted felons, Really. We live in a world where If an employer looks up your record and if you have a record regardless of the circumstances They wont hore you no matter how mutch the job seeker tells the employer that it wasnt his falt or wreather the conviction is real or bogus. 65% of Felons really shouldnt even have a record at all. It has to do with currupt law enforcement who likes to charge you with something and then let the court system have there way with you. remember, The DA doesnt care if your innocent or not, and if you dont have any money for a lawyer then the court appointed attorney will only go by the DAs offers which you have to plea guilty even if your not. I Know this cause I am a convicted felon and It wasnt my choice. I never commited any crime. Richard Cardenas
I applaud you for trying to become a productive citizen. It is very hard to find a good job after a convition, but I think its wrong for you to put the blame on the government. You made the choice to do whatever it was that ended in your conviction. Good Luck.
