Is my labret infected?

It’s been almost 2 weeks since I got it and it had white sticky stuff on the outside. They stuck to the stud. The thing is today there was kinda like light yellow-ish thing. It was sticky too and I’m worried that it’s infection >< It doesn’t hurt..well it does if I laugh a lot or if I play with it a lot with my tongue. It’s a little bit red on the outside but only a little bit and only a little part of it. If it is infection how should I treat it? Oh and by the way the redness’s been there since I got it.

Did you end up changing it ? If so, that new stud probaby wasn’t very clean. Don’t touch it unless your hands are super clean, don’t changebit & do seasalt soaks.

I didn’t change it to a ring. I’ve just changed that little ball to another one. When I saw that yellow-ish thing I changed it back and it’s okay now.

If the discharge coming from you piercing is a milky clear color, or is only a little yellow then it’s fine. Just continue taking care of it with the spray they reccommend you buy when you get it pierced and don’t mess with it. With infection, usually comes pain.

You need to check with a doctor or a piercing parlor, they will be able to determine what you have. I wouldn’t waste a second, if you have an infection…. It can spread, and can get you into the hospital.
