You don’t need to listen to them, there is a solution. Instead of bleaching your hair use a tablespoon of lemon juice and a gallon of water and then sit out in the sun. it will lighten your hair but natrually. If that doesnt work for you you could a high level chammomeal tea with a little water. Vinegar will get the other hair color out.

DONT DO IT,,,READ ALL POSTS,,,YOU CAN SERIOUSLY BURN YOUR SCALP, AND YOUR HAIR CAN COME OFF, IT WILL BURN YOUR HAIR TO WHERE YOU HAVE NONE…WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO GO IN THE KITCHEN AND USE PRODUCTS FOR COUNTERS MAKE OF PORCELINE AND CERAMIC , AND ALSO MIXING THESE CHEMICALS CAN BE SOOO FATAL, THE FUMES IT SELF CAN CAUSE A REACTION AND START TO SMOKE UP, DONT BE STUPID, AND GO TO A BEUTY SUPPLY AND GET IT CHEAP , ASK THE LADIES BEHIND THE COUNTER TO HELP YOU,,,

not a good idea to do… if you try to make your own bleach, your hair is going to end up orange.

Answer #4

you can’t do that, seriously. it’s not even possible. it’s way dangerous, what’s the point, stop being lazy and just go out and buy some at walgreens for 11 dollars. and if you think the bleach in household products like 409 and tilex is the same kind as actual HAIR bleach, then you are in for a big surprise darling. have fun burning the skin off your scalp and blinding yourself.

This isn’t quite from the kitchen, but wood ash was used by the anceint Romans to lighten hair and acheive a blonde color. It might not get your hair white, but hydrogen peroxide is actually used in a lot of dyes bought in the store as a lifting agent to make the actual dye brighter. I’m not sure how this is very relevant because I’m not sure it will acheive white hair, and I’m really not sure mixing the two is safe on the skin. I DO know that mixing food dye and white vinegar and you nuke it in the microwave till its hot to the touch, but not burning, it will dye your hair in about 5 minutes. Also leaves your hair ultra soft and shiny, but longer might fry your hair. My natral hair is blonde and I wanted to go blue, but the natural yellow of my hair turned my blue attempt a fairly pretty blue-green that took about 5 weeks to fade to green-blue (yes, there is a difference).

It is possible, very dangerous though. A friend of mine did it at her house when I was over. She did it, and her hair started just coming out of her head in huge chunks. She had like no hair left, it was horrible. Its all back to normal now thank goodness. If you cant afford a hairstylist or bleaching kit right now, then save up. Its definitely worth the wait.
