What kinds of things should I buy for volleyball this season?

So, it’s my first year in volleyball, and I need to know what to buy. I know I need knee pads but, what else?

Knee pads, Sports shorts, hair ties, water bottle, and tenni shoes but they cant have black bottoms for some wierd reason.. atleast my school wont alow them

They are giving us a whole uniform including a jersey and shorts. So, is there a certain brand of knee pads I should go for?

At my school I know black bottoms aren’t allowed because they skkuff up the floor really bad.

Nah just get really padded and sturdy ones. My friend got lightly padded ones but she ended up messing her knee up and getting really bad rug burn

Well for a more professional environment like an official high school team you’ll need knee pads (I recommend Asics brand) spare spandex shorts, sturdy, tall socks, hair ties and head bands (bobby pins are not allowed on the court) court shoes, and I highly recommend looking into ankle braces and sports tape: injuries are inevitable;)
