Is the Karate Kid movie good?

I saw it, and I loved it. The beginning is a bit slow, but it gets really good throughout the middle. It's shows a nice perspective of Chinese culture and kung fu. I loved the character that Jackie Chan was playing, it was a bit more serious then his other movies. And Jayden, the main character, was really cute. Well I won't spoil anything, but it's a movie I'd recommend.
