Journalism or Graphic Designing, which one should I choose as a major? I love both, but I have no idea which one to choose?
Which one do you think is better, can anyone help me?
please & thank you

Both career choices are very interesting and rewarding. However, in addition to looking at pay, you must also examine the industry. Some may say journalism is a better field for writers (if this is your thing & which there will always be a demand for), but others say in this day and age of the Internet and computers, graphic design may be a better suit for you. I do have to agree with the comment above: I do know several people who are banking in the GD field!
So there you have it: your true passion, pay and demand. You may be surprised at which factor determines your decision. Hope that helps.
it's not a matter of which we think is better or not, if we say graphic you might do that but prefer journalism in the end. which one are you so passionate about? if both, why not think of a way to combine both careers? I have a friend whos training to be a fashion journalist, you could go into something along those lines, write and design, hope this helps (: best of luck erin x
Graphic design pays better :) After I got my Journalism degree, I worked at a major newspaper for $10/hour.
Graphic designers can make 5 times that :(
go for graphic design
that's what I'm gunna go to school for too plus it seems funner then a journalist more chances to be creative
I'm taking Journalism next year in high school!! haha just felt like sayin' that!!
thanks for answering everyone. you all helped !! =-]
