Your in the right frame of mind to not let anything happen with this guy if your friend likes him. Just ignore it, and if he tells you he likes you just put him in his place that your not interested.

Well if you dont want him to like you then just ignore him, he will get the picture… guys are mean because its a way of flirting i guess… i dont really know… its best to go for the nice guys anyways…
